Connect ChatGPT

1Open the Open Calls listing in ChatGPT and choose Install plugin.
2Choose Connect when prompted, sign in to Open Calls and review the requested permissions.
3Mention @Open Calls in a chat. Ask for your balance and a call quote, then approve the recipient, objective and maximum charge.

On a phone, this link can open the ChatGPT app. If it opens your browser, you can install and connect there too.

No Developer mode or copied connection key needed. If your ChatGPT menu says Apps, find Open Calls there. You can also select it from the + menu.

Joining and waiting on hold depend on your account and language availability, shown before you start a call. When joining is available, verify your callback number and accept the private invitation before speaking directly. Callback and recipient prompts support English, Hebrew, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic and Italian. Live translation is available in beta for supported language pairs.

Do I need Developer mode?

No. Install the published Open Calls plugin from ChatGPT’s Plugins or Apps menu, then connect your account. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan, region and workspace settings.

What does a call cost?

Your assistant quotes the maximum first. Calls are billed by the second with a minimum total for connected calls. See pricing and destination rates.

Does my assistant call anyone without asking?

Permission to connect is separate from permission to call. Review the recipient, objective and maximum price before starting each call. A connection cannot approve purchases or raise your spending limits.

Can I try it before adding credit?

Check your account for available calling time and current calling availability. Reading a quote or looking at a fictional example never starts a call.

Which countries can it call?

Your account shows current calling availability. Check destination rates for supported number types; your account also shows current availability.
