The billing details
What time do I pay for?
Connected time includes phone menus, voicemail and waiting, even if the task is unresolved. Unused reserved credit returns to your balance.
Connected time rounds up to a whole second across the call, not separately for each phase. Combined usage charges round up once to a microdollar, then the minimum applies. The $0.05 US minimum is not an extra fee. Displayed totals round to cents.
Which rate will my call use?
Your destination, number type, call mode, subscription and callback number determine the rate. Listed rates and this calculator are illustrative; an estimate does not reserve credit. At approval, we check your maximum, reserve credit and save the call's rates. Final usage uses those rates and measured phases, within the reserved maximum.
Waiting and joining depend on your account and language. Rates above include a standard US or Canadian callback; other supported callback destinations can add to active and direct-conversation rates and the minimum. If the AI resumes, the active hold-mode rate returns. Live translation is available in beta for supported language pairs.
Need incoming calls?
An optional US number and incoming-call assistant costs $19/month, including $12 calling credit per paid period. It renews until canceled; included credit expires each period.
Standard US subscriber rates per minute: AI $0.20, AI with a human invitation $0.25, paused waiting $0.05, direct conversation after the AI leaves $0.05, and translation $0.40. Incoming AI uses the US subscriber rate; forwarding varies by callback destination.
